"One student told me that doing theatre in English was easier than in French, and I can understand that. When you act in another language, you can feel it much more than by reading books, because you have to become a character – an English character. The language becomes a part of you."
- Mireille Mimoun, CLG Pierre Ronsard
"Yes, I would (recommend workshops) because this kind of work shows pupils a different way to learn English and it helps them to get motivated. Also it helps shy pupils who feel more at ease and so get eager to speak English."
- Mme Boutet, CLG George Sand
"It shows pupils their English class can be different and that they can learn lines for a different purpose than usual. Being part of a project, especially with a show at the end to help the pupils with their self-confidence...and their English."
- Magali Saurel, CLG Michel Vignaud
"Here is a surprising and memorable adaptation of Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde....it was creepy, exciting and humorous play...at the end of this amazing play we were speechless."
- Pupils, Lycée Evariste Galois
"The show’s mise-en-scène helps actors and spectators interact, the way the actors play and the level of English always targets the right audience. Because of this, Drama Ties shows are always spot on, and the continued study of the play allows the teacher to deepen the cultural aspects of the piece. What a jewel and what pleasure for all!"
- Véronique Herms, IUFM, Livry Gargan
"I loved the play. Normally at school I would have had 3 hours free time but it was definitely worth coming to the play!"
- Pupil 6e, about Dr Seuss & Co
"Your energy was tangible and your workshop was thought provoking, enjoyable and inspiring. Thank-you."
- Christine McKimm, Collège Les Pyramides
